If your order is eligible for COD, it will be displayed as a payment option at checkout.
We can’t offer COD under the following circumstances:
- Orders over the maximum threshold determined in checkout
- Orders for Click & Collect
- Orders being delivered to an address falling in areas not serviced by the Takealot Delivery Team
- Orders containing a gift voucher
- Orders for made to order products like Art
- You have a cancelled COD order due to non-payment
How does it work?
- Select COD in checkout
- Once you click Pay with COD your order will be generated - it cannot be cancelled or changed.
- Make sure you have the exact amount of cash ready for the driver when he arrives on your scheduled delivery date
NOTE:
- We charge a non-refundable R15 service fee for this payment option, payable on delivery in addition to your order total.
- Credit & Debit Card or any other digital payments won’t be accepted on delivery.
